Events
At Post 5221 we like to have a good time
whether it is serving the community or raising money for our vets.
Throughout the year our post participates in a variety of community events:

Each month we host a dinner for the Members and the Community.

You can see us in full uniform marching in community parades such as the "Loyalty Day Parade" and the "Calhan Christmas Lights Parade".

Twice a year we host a Gun Raffle Fundraiser. This is great fun and a popular event in our community. Due to Covid-19 we will be moving this event online. Stay tuned for more info, better yet click here to sign up for updates.

Memorial Services - our post offers authentic military honors to any veteran of foreign wars. Click here to contact us with your request.
MEMBERS DINNER
In the spirit of comraderie, we enjoy hosting dinners for members and their families. Monthly in the summer, bi-monthly in the winter when weather cooperates (see calendar for updates).

SPECIAL EVENTS
We participate in local festivals and events and occasionaly host a super special event ourselves - such as showcasing this blackhawk helicopter during Calhan Summerfest in 2019.
