How You Can Help
Our veterans need us. They need you too.
There are a variety of ways you can help, of course all efforts are always greatly appreciated. Whether you are able to donate money, time or resources. Following are a few ways you can get involved and help our post service our veterans , their families and our community.
SERVICE TO VETERANS
Here is a sampling of things you can do to assist the Veterans of our community:

Donate to veterans in distress.

Donate food and cash to the local pantry.

Donate to our VFW Veteran’s Relief Fund.

Donate to the Wounded Warrior project.

Support local Boy Scout troop 14.

Participate in our Loyalty Day Parade and the city of Calhan's Memorial Day Parade.

Visit veterans’ gravesites at Clahan Cemetery on Memorial Day as we place American Flags on veterans’ gravesites .

Donate to the Marine Corps Toys For Tots program.

Visit hospitals to cheer our veterans.

Join us at local events celebrating our community and our heroes.

Although we are very proud of our record of support, we’re never satisfied with what we’ve done so far. The need is too great; there is much to be done. We are asking for your help - WE NEED YOU to step up and get involved. You understand service.
If you are a veteran of any foreign war, there are many benefits to joining your local VFW chapter.
If you are a family member, spouse or child of a VFW member, you may wish to join our Auxiliary.
